We at Art Trek are so grateful to be a part of many amazing events! Earlier this month we were invited to provide an art workshop for their 4th Annual Life After Brain Injury Retreat at American Jewish University in Simi Valley, CA. It was an amazing, educational weekend for brain injury survivors, family caregivers and service providers. Participants created works of art that they never thought to be possible!
We had a special guest at our studio last week! KCLU news director, Lance Orozco stopped by to interview our director, Nan Young about the Conejo Public Art Project - Conejo Cottontails! One of our featured artists and maker of the original cottontail maquette, Cate Hartenstein, was also at the studio working on her groovy Cottontail Sculpture!
