BRITE (formerly Straight Up Ventura County) engages youth and young adults in advocacy and action to reduce underage and binge drinking, impaired driving, prescription drug, marijuana and other drug abuse, and to promote health and wellbeing. Straight Up provides volunteer and community service opportunities for young people (ages 12-25) to make a difference through Social Change Theatre, video production, writing, social media and live presentations.
CLU Community Counseling Center
A private, non-profit, affordable counseling center providing high quality services to individuals of all ages, couples, and families in a private or group setting.

The Thousand Oaks Library provides valuable educational, life-long learning and entertainment resources. Users can access materials at both branches of the Library during open hours and even online 24/7 through the Virtual Library. Educational services offered through the library include homework help, job & career resources, standardized test preparation, various Learning @ Your Library classes, access to Lynda.com; an online educational video library, Kanopy online streaming documentaries and films, Rosetta Stone language learning, e-Books, 3-D printing and much more. DOR Student services include Job Exploration/Counseling, Work-Based Learning Experiences (including temporary paid work experiences), Postsecondary Education Counseling, Workplace Readiness Training, and Instruction in Self-Advocacy. Participants can be any student, ages 16-21 (Up to 22 years of age) who has been identified as having a disability, attending public/private high school, charter schools, or home schools, attending college or any post-secondary education settings.

Food Share is a critical member of our community in providing food and support to the hungry of Ventura County. Food Share distributes over 9 million pounds of nutritious food per year via our 150+ non-profit partners, government programs, and outreach programs.
Provides outpatient counseling for children, teens, and families; runaway & homeless youth emergency shelter and intervention services; and education programs for abused children, battered women and their children, and families in crisis.
Homeless Services (H2H) provides food, laundry, showers, case management for short term help while in transition to housing. Meals and winter shelter program. Qualified low income families experiencing emergencies can receive financial support for rent, utilities etc. Families suffering from long term poverty receive resources and allies from the community whose goal is to help them transition out of poverty.
A nonprofit agency for people for whom drugs have become a major problem. Members are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. All ages welcome.
A privately run learning academy for homeschooled and independent study students in grades 6th-8th, with many classes appropriate for 9th-12th. It's a place for students who want to learn in a healthy, safe, and caring educational environment. Not One More is a non-profit organization originated in Simi Valley, CA in 2012. Their mission is to raise awareness and prevent drug addiction through education and community partnerships. Public Recreation Community Center designed specifically for 7th-12th grade teens that live in the Conejo Valley. The facility features a gym, soundproof music room, game room, computer lab and more. Programs include a variety of recreational classes, as well as drop-in recreation. This program is administered by Conejo Recreation& Park District, and funded by the City of Thousand Oaks.

Westminster Free Clinic offers basic health care. Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other medical professionals volunteer their time at the clinic after their regular jobs. Services include primary healthcare, teen healthcare volunteering and training, mental health counseling, violence prevention and mental health awareness programs.

City of Thousand Oaks Community Services provided by the City of Thousand Oaks includes supplying staff to serve as liaisons to the Thousand Oaks Youth Commission, Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families, the Substance Abuse Committee, Community Conscience, and the Teen Center. Staff, in coordination with Youth Outreach Workers, also assigns community service projects to Social Host Ordinance violators. In addition, staff maintains the Conejoconnections.org website. La Ventana Eating Disorder Programs offers outpatient, insurance based treatment for Eating Disorders and the underlying issues that correspond with this disease. La Ventana facilities the recovery process through group therapy, family support, individual therapy, meal plans, and staff supported meals.

Youth Outreach Program
This unique program helps at-risk teens (Grades 7th-12th) find success with peer social situations, school work and family life. Outreach workers redirect noninvolved teens to positive activities such as recreation, employment, or other service providers. Outreach workers are housed at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center. This program is administered by the Conejo Valley Unified School District and Conejo Recreation & Park District.
