4/17 Prompt: Organic String Creature!
(see art samples below)
Supplies needed: Crayons, string about 8 inches long, black or dark crayon, white drawing paper or piece of colored construction paper.
1. Drop string from about a foot off a table top. With a black or dark crayon on your paper, copy whatever shape the string has taken when it landed onto the table.
2. Now turn the paper in all four directions until you see the beginnings of some sort of creature. Sometimes it helps to just put an eye in someplace!
3. With other crayons, complete your organic string creature and give it an environment and added details!
4. Give your creature a name. Write its name along the bottom of your paper.
Have fun! :)
