5/29 Prompt: Friendly Frida Faces

(see art samples and ideas below)

Supplies needed: colored construction paper or copy paper, pencil, eraser, sharpie, crayons or markers.

1. Choose your piece of paper. With a pencil, draw a large circle in the middle of your paper, this will be your face. Then draw your eyes in the half way point of your circle/face.

2. Now draw your neck, clothing (shirt, dress, etc.) and add flowers and/or plants around you.

3. Once your main drawing is complete, add your facial features (i.e. nose, mouth, hair, ears, etc.) and details of your background. Then go over your pencil lines with sharpie (erase any pencil that remains).

4. Color it in with crayons or markers. Once you're done, sign your name at the bottom of your art!

Have Fun! :)

We would love to see photos of your family making their Friendly Frida Faces!
