7/17 Prompt: Caribbean Colors

(see art samples and ideas below)

Supplies needed: A piece of copy paper, pencil, eraser, and crayons, paint (watercolor or tempera) or markers.

1. Lay your paper horizontally. Draw your house or Caribbean scene. Add details - trees, sand, animals, windows, doors, etc.

2. Once your drawing is complete, use your crayons, paints or markers to color in your artwork. Color in big shapes first and details after.

3. Now that you’ve colored-in or painted your work of art - sign the bottom corner of your masterpiece!

7/10 Prompt: Kandinsky Circles

(see art samples and ideas below)

Supplies needed: A piece of copy or card stock paper, pencil, eraser, and crayons, paint (watercolor or tempera) or markers.

1. Lay your paper horizontally. Draw a grid of 12 squares on your paper. Inside each square, draw multiple circles inside of each other.

2. Once your drawing is complete, use your crayons, paints or markers to color in your circles and squares with different hues.

3. Now that you’ve colored-in or painted your work of art - sign the bottom corner of your masterpiece!

7/3 Prompt: Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers

(see art samples and ideas below)

Supplies needed: A piece of copy or card stock paper, pencil, eraser, and colored sharpies, paint or markers.

1. Draw your vase and horizon line. Then add your sunflowers.

2. Once your drawing is complete, add your details. I.E. sunflower seeds, leave lines, etc.

3. Color in your drawing with sharpies or markers or digitally.
Or paint your masterpiece!
(You can even use the coloring page below!)

4. Once complete - sign the bottom corner of your art.
