Hot Air Balloon Festival!

(see art samples and ideas below)

Supplies needed: A piece of copy paper, pencil, eraser, and crayons, paint (watercolor or tempera) or markers.

1. Lay your paper horizontally. Start by drawing your 3 balloons in different sizes. Then add your mountains, sky and details.

2. Once your drawing is complete, use your crayons, paints or markers to color in your artwork. Color in big shapes first and details after.

3. Now that you’ve colored-in or painted your work of art - sign the bottom corner of your masterpiece!

Blue Dog in Disguise!

Supplies needed: A piece of copy paper, pencil, eraser, and crayons, paint (watercolor or tempera) or markers.

1. Lay your paper vertically. Start by drawing your dogs head and then draw the body and legs. (See images below for step-by-step) Then add your details, hat, shirt, tie, etc. Your dog needs a disguise!

2. Once your drawing is complete, use your crayons, paints or markers to color in your artwork. Color in big shapes first and details after.

3. Now that you’ve colored-in or painted your work of art - sign the bottom corner of your masterpiece!
