Holly is a Ventura County native and loved to draw and paint as a child. She has a degrees in both art and anthropology. She draws on these two fields to better access and share the inner-workings of the creative process.

She began teaching with Art Trek as a volunteer docent while her children attended Topa Topa school in Ojai. Teaching and making art with her children reignited her artistic passion. This led her to explore new mediums, especially printmaking, which she now teaches at Art Trek in the evenings. She also shows her art professionally at OVA Arts Gallery in Ojai.
