Dearest Bahram, Farhad and Shirin,

During this day of reminiscing we will be with Nassrin and Giulia in Italy, joining you in spirit in remembering the impact that Mimi had upon our lives.  Her innumerable gestures of warmth have left a mark on a family positioned all over the world.  Not least of which we recall when Malin once expressed in Iranian cooking at Mimi's house in 1994, we later returned to London to find a book titled 'New Food of Life' waiting on our doorstep.  We still eat khoresht-e bademjan in our home to this day.

Lots of love and kisses,

Nassrin, Giancarlo, Malin, Marco, Luca, Leonardo, and Giulia

Mimi loved to paint, it meant so much to her. It was her peace, her quiet place, her comfort zone. I cherish the memory I have of watching her paint in one of her classes. It was wonderful to watch her. She was very talented. I will miss her.

love, Holly Bayendor xx

Mimi and her family set such a loving and well woven example for our Art Trek retreats. On a personal note I felt sad I had not experienced the weekend with my own wonderful mother. What a gentle and delightful woman. She will be missed.
