Supplies needed: 1 sheet of construction or copy paper, black crayon or marker, and medium of your choice. (i.e. tempera, watercolor, construction paper crayon, marker, colored pencil, etc.)
On your piece of paper, with a black crayon or marker, draw a slightly flattened circle.
Draw the moon with its bold facial features. Clouds and stars can be added if desired.
Then draw bold facial features and stylized rays on the sun.
Divide the background into 2 sections: day and night.
Color-in and Decorate! Remember: Use white sparingly for accents. Re-outline with black crayon to sharpen lines.
