Camp Policies and Procedures

PLEASE NOTE: Online registration is REQUIRED for camp. Please, no walk-ins.

FOR WAITLISTED CAMPERS: We will call you the morning of your desired camp date if your child is accepted to the main roster.

Sign-In & Sign-Out:

·    Each camper must be signed in and signed out by a parent/guardian with an Art Trek staff member present.  

·    Children may NOT be dropped off at the door or sign themselves in/out.  


Age Policy:

·       For children in grades 1st through 8th. Children must be going into first grade in the 2025-2026 school year.

·      To ensure a positive and successful camp experience for everyone our projects are carefully developed keeping attention span, motor skills, and other developmental milestones in mind.

 

Daily Schedule:

·       Morning Session: 9:00am - 12:00pm 

·       Supervised lunch: 12:00pm - 12:30pm

  • All students welcome to bring a lunch and join. Full day campers must bring a lunch.

·       Afternoon Session: 12:30pm - 3:30pm

 

Lunches and Snacks:

·       There is a snack break during each session for campers at approximately 10:30am and 1:30pm. Art Trek provides small bagged chips and lemonade at snack breaks. 

·       All children staying for a full day of camp must bring a lunch. Art Trek does not provide lunch for campers.

·       Please do not send your child to camp with any peanut or tree-nut products. 


Dress Code:

·       Please dress to get messy! Aprons for campers are available.

·       Closed-toed shoes are advised: please, no flip-flops, sandals or Heelys®.

·       The art studio can get cold, even in warmer weather. Please send a sweatshirt/sweater with your child.


Acknowledgement/Disclaimer

Art Trek, Inc. reserves the right to dismiss a camper while in a camp session due to medical, emotional, or mental health reasons for which the director deems staff are not suited to lend appropriate support.

Special Circumstances: Parents and guardians are required to inform Art Trek, Inc. in writing of any significant circumstances which may affect the child’s ability to participate fully and within the guidelines of acceptable behavior, including, but not limited to, any serious behavioral problems or special circumstances regarding psychological, medical, or physical conditions. Once the notice is submitted to Art Trek, Inc., the Director will determine if a meeting with the parent/guardian must occur prior to scheduled camp days to discuss the special circumstances and whether Art Trek, Inc. can accommodate the child.


Camp Class Cancellations/Transfers/Refunds

·      Classes can be transferred to another camp date if notified before the class begins.  To transfer your camp date(s) email media@arttrek.org with the subject: Camp Transfer and in the body of the email please specify the child’s current camp date(s) and the desired make-up date(s).

·      For refunds:  Email media@arttrek.org with the subject: Camp Refund. In the body of the email please specify the child’s camp date(s) to be refunded.
