5/22 Prompt: Matisse Cut-outs
(see art samples and ideas below)
Supplies needed: different colored papers, pencil, scissors, glue stick, (paint, markers or crayons - optional.)
1. Start drawing different Matisse-inspired shapes on your different colored papers. If you don’t have different colors, make your own by painting or drawing on paper with markers or crayons.
2. Then cut-out each shape and arrange them in a design on your main piece of paper.
3. Glue the shapes down and write your name on the corner of your art!

5/8 Prompt: Tweaking the Greats
(see art samples and ideas below)
Supplies needed: white copy paper or canvas, pencil, eraser, media of your choice (colored pencils, markers, crayons or paint!)
1. Start by sketching out your work of art. Add your changes to the original. Use the samples below of find your own Great work to "tweak"!
2. Once your sketch is made, draw in your details.
3. Now paint or color in your "tweaked" work of art! Be sure to remove any pencil lines.
4. Sign your work. Share with the masses!
