#FlashbackFriday to 2012. A wonderful collaboration with World Link, Inc. when the 14th Dalai Lama visited the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice in San Diego, CA. Students and citizens of United States and Mexico created a peace book and peace banners to that were gifted to the Dalai Lama.

We would like to thank all the great students, teachers, staff and parents who created a collaborative character wall with their school to celebrate another great year! Congratulations Nan!

On Wednesday, May 24th Nan Young received the Most Powerful & Influential Women's Award during the 4th Annual Southern California Diversity & Leadership Conference hosted by the National Diversity Council. She was one of 4 women recognized for "creating a diverse and inclusive environment in order to foster innovation and leadership excellence" (Dennis Kennedy, Founder & Chair, National Diversity Council). During the conference she spoke on the Leadership panel addressing how to inspire, influence and achieve results. We are so proud to call Nan Young our fearless leader!

Downtown Value School Open House

Our director, Nan Young attended Downtown Value School Open House this morning. The event was a wonderful celebration of students accomplishments throughout the year! 

Summer Art Camp! June 19th - July 28th

We are very excited to have another great Summer of Art Camp coming up!

We have a fun-filled summer full of imaginative art projects, exciting games, creative snacks and a gigantic studio full of artwork to spark your imagination. Pick and choose your days! Sign your child up for a morning, afternoon or a full day of camp.

Foster Family Day @ Children's Bureau Los Angeles

Art Trek's director, Nan Young was a guest presenter this past Saturday in Los Angeles at the Children's Bureau for their Foster Family Day & Annual Appreciation Luncheon. A great day where resource parents are recognized for all the amazing work they do for our youth.
