Supplies needed: A square piece of card stock or copy paper, pencil, eraser, and colored sharpies or markers.


1. Choose a stencil below to use or draw a symbol of strength on your paper. Be sure to add in details.

2. Write a message of peace.

3. Now color in your drawing with sharpies or markers.

4. Once complete - sign the bottom corner of your art.

6/12 Prompt: Summer Table Full

(see art samples and ideas below)

Supplies needed: Two (2) half sheets of different colored construction paper, pencil, glue stick, scissors, pastels, and/or crayons (construction paper or normal crayons). 

1. Find a food item in your kitchen or pantry. Place the item in front of you to see it's shape.

2. Draw the item on a piece of construction paper, include the label (if there is one). Take your time.

3. Now color in your drawing with pastels or crayons. Be sure to add your details.

4. Once complete - sign the bottom and mount it on a different colored piece of construction paper.

6/5 Prompt: Visions of Hope

(see art samples and ideas below)

Supplies needed: half sheet of drawing or copy paper, pencil, eraser, sharpie, crayons or markers. Optional: half sheet of construction paper

1. Using your pencil, divide your paper into thirds using wavy horizontal lines.
  
2. Choose a phrase/quote or make your own. When you draw it, make your letters large enough to touch the top and bottom of your wave. Add a small design or image of composition if desired.

3. Outline the wavy lines, words and design in sharpie or dark crayon.

4. Color in the composition with crayon or marker. Change colors in each space between the letters.

Optional: Mat on a half sheet of construction paper.
